Service Catalog Workshop |
We are pleased to announce our next event which will take place in the Camden Court Hotel, Dublin on Wednesday 29 September 2010 from 08:30 to 11.00.
Mark O'Loughlin author of The Service Catalog will facilitate a workshop on the subject.
Those of you who attended our AGM in May, also saw the launch of a new IT Service Management publication "The Service Catalog". This book is published by Van Haren and was written by one of our own members, Mark O'Loughlin.
Mark gave a very entertaining and insightful presentation on the process of writing the book and a high level overview of its contents. In the feedback forms a large percentage of the attendees requested a more in-depth analysis of the Service Catalog. Mark has kindly agreed to run a workshop to help us to understand what a service is, how to design and develop a service catalog and to understand the role that the service catalog performs within the service portfolio. A number of practical hands-on sessions will take place which will help reinforce key concepts and learning.
